Satisfaction Guarantee

All of our work is tested before handing it back.

In the unlikely event that a problem is not corrected to your 100% satisfaction when we leave, we will return to remedy it free of charge.

If any problem that we have repaired reoccurs within 60 days, we will also return to correct it again free of charge.
 

On Time Guarantee

When you make an appointment with Scioto Micro, you expect us to honor it. If Scioto Micro is more than 15 minutes late at your premises for any reason (within or outside our control), your labor charge will be reduced by 10%. If we are more than 1 hour late, the discount will be 25%.

We have never been an hour late yet, but you never know!
 

Manufacturers' Warranty Extension

If any part or peripheral that we have installed has to be replaced under the manufacturer's warranty (whether or not we provided the part), we will fit the replacement for you free of charge.

This also applies to any extended warranty that you might have purchased. However, parts that you have provided yourself must be either new or certified refurbished by the original manufacturer.

 

Scioto Micro Pricing

We are open and up front about our charges and make every effort, without cutting corners, to minimize the final costs to our customers.

Where possible, we quote a total price for labor and materials before we start a job, so you know before accepting our service exactly how much it will cost.

Many jobs are price capped, where we set a maximum number of hours that we will charge for the job, and do not charge for any hours over this amount. An example is when we carry out a computer tune-up or virus cleaning in our workshop. We will not charge you more than 2 hours labor for this job. If less than 2 hours work is actually needed, only the actual time worked will be billed.

There are certain jobs where we cannot fix or cap the price in advance, such as hardware repairs where we need to start work in order to check for other damage. In these instances, we charge by the ¼ hour, meaning that if a job takes 2¼ hours, you will be charged 2¼ hours labor, not 3 hours as with some other companies.

Scioto Micro reserves the right to charge small additional fees for travel further than 25 miles from downtown Chillicothe or for work outside our normal business hours at the customer's request.
